    Private Life

     

    Michael Salvadore Lynch Jr. was born and reared on the outskirts of Ottawa, Canada. Ottawa is located in the southernmost part of the Canadian province of Ontario, at the confluence of the Ottawa and Rideau rivers.

     

    After his father took a high-profile position at a then-fledgling Austin, Texas-based technology company, Michael and his family relocated to the United States. He finished high education in his hometown of Ottawa before relocating to Texas with his mother and younger sister. He is now a resident of Gaston County, North Carolina.

     

    Lynch and his wife have two kids. They reside in Belmont, a small city in Gaston County. Belmont is located in North Carolina's Piedmont area, bordered by the Catawba River and its tributary, the South Fork Catawba River. The family owns two dogs, both saved from local shelters.

     

    Michael has various hobbies and interests outside of his professional endeavors. He is a lifelong basketball fan who cheers on the Ottawa BlackJacks, a Canadian professional basketball club. He also enjoys cooking, DIY, fishing, golfing, and woodworking, a hobby he discovered in 2020 and now pursues from his specifically designed home workshop.
